How To Sponsor A Child

2. Download and print the form
3. Fill in the form
4. The amount is up to you
5. Select your sponsoring option:
• 24 month sponsor
• 12 month sponsor
• Once-off donation
6. Send the signed form back to us via email of fax.
Why do we need sponsors?
I am Special Ministries is a non profitable organisation operating mainly in deprived and underprivileged areas. Therefore no funds are raised from the schools we visit or the children attending the program. However, training and equipping our volunteer workers and supplying in all the needs to present the program to the children, is a costly exercise. Funds are needed for the following:
Volunteer workers:
• Training sessions
• Manual with weekly-prepared lessons, scriptures and activities
• All equipment they would need for the class. (Activity books, stationary, flashcards,
blocks, puzzles, games, CD player, beanbags etc, etc, etc.)
Children:
Each child is supplied with his or her own:
• Activity book
• Pencils
• Crayons
• Craft material
• And/or any equipment needed for a specific activity during a lesson
Sponsoring A Child Is Easy!
There is no amount of money worth not sharing God’s love, grace and joy with any child.
Putting hope in a child’s heart and a smile on his face.
We would like to give everyone the opportunity to make a difference and to become involved in the lives of these children and to share the vision of I Am Special, so the amount you sponsor is entirely up to you.
So What Are You Getting Out Of This?
You share in the responsibility of putting a smile on a child’s face. As long as you are a sponsor, you are automatically a member of I am Special Ministry.
You will receive a quarterly newsletter with the latest news and upcoming events to keep you informed on what is happening with your money and the ministry.
Upon request, you may correspond with a child by method of e-mailing through us, also receiving the child’s photograph and general information.
We are a non-profitable organisation and the funds will be generated back into the communities for children’s upliftment and education. We have affiliations with 3 Christian-based organisations, also involved in children’s ministries, who will receive a monthly percentage of all funds raised.
